Alex Mullaney

Biography

Alex's Supermoto career started as a spectator. He loved it, so bought himself a KTM 85 not knowing how to do the clutch or gears. To solve this, his dad threw him in a field so I could figure it all out. That worked and he had a crack at some MX days but soon decided to get some Supermoto wheels and give it a go. Ever since then Alex has been in love with the sport, and it seems to love him back, with him winning the Under 21's Championship in 2023 where he's now chasing the top 3 runners in the elite class. It's the fun and the adrenaline that makes each race a great weekend, even if he hasn't ridden his best, because in his words "it’s a really good, friendly paddock to be in". His goals for this season are to win the under21s championship again and get his first elite win. He's been close on a couple of occasions so hopefully 2024 is his season for that win.
